New Invention Design that Is Powerful | MAKO Design + Invent

A “Powerful” Invention Design

Once and a while, an invention design comes around that completely changes an industry. The invention design is unlike anything on the market and more importantly solves a significant problem. It must be a practical invention design that speaks to consumers on a high level; it needs to add importance to their life. Often times, an invention design is created with individual products that are readily available in the market. All one has to do is simply put these products together and create a product that will change a market. Our friend, Jonathan Schloo has recently created a truly ground-breaking invention design that encompasses many of these characteristics —The Car House Heater.

The Car House Heater is a back-up power invention design that allows users to use their car to power their house or appliances during a power outage. The Car House Heater is designed with the individual in mind and provides the utmost convenience during an unfortunate blackout. Jonathan Schloo, a Toronto resident, initially made the Car House Heater for his family camping trips but later realized it could be suitable for home use. He brought this into effect during the infamous Toronto ice storm in the winter of 2014. A large majority of our world heavily depends on power for survival and Toronto truly understood the value of power during last year’s winter storm. So many families were left in the cold, with no food or electricity for days. This is never ideal, especially during the holiday season. The few that were able to purchase  back-up generators from local hardware stores were charged an obscene amount because of the urgency of the situation. The Car House heater eliminates this inconvenience and uses a little bit of your car’s power to safely power your furnace, lights, or appliances. All you have to do is:

  1. Attach the Car House Heater to your car battery and start the engine
  2. Leave your engine running and lock your car with a spare key
  3. Run an extension cord to your house and plug it into your desired appliance with the special adapter cable until there is enough energy to power your device. This will only take a short amount of time and energy out of your car but the power will last to 2 – 3 days!

What’s Next for this Invention Design?

Right Now Jonathan is ready to take his invention design into full production. The Indiegogo Campaign for the Car House Heater is coming to a close and is almost at its goal!  If the goal is met he will be able to bring this invention design to the masses, which would be amazing. There is clearly a high demand for this product and people are taking notice of its importance!
